LOCAL OUTREACH

Born Again Disciples: B.A.D. is a non-profit community outreach program dedicated to serving the city of Poughkeepsie. B.A.D.'s programs are designed so that EVERY family and EVERY child has a safe place to go regardless of their financial stability. Born Again Disciples exists for the purpose of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with people in our community. Learn more and see how you can get involved at the Born Again Disciples website.

Hudson River Lodging: CCHV's Men's Fellowship, which meets every Tuesday evening in the Solid Ground Cafe, hosts an "Ice Cream Social" for the residents of Hudson River Lodging every two months. If you would like to join them, please contact the church office.

Vacation Bible School: For the last several years, CCHV-ers have conducted a VBS program that is a ministry to our own children as well as an outreach to the community. This is a wonderful opportunity for service, whether you enjoy music ministry with children, art, Bible teaching, nursery care for the children of volunteers, helping with snack time, etc. Please contact the church office if you are interested in this summer's program.

Care Net Ministries: With the support of Care Net and its network of pregnancy centers, people facing unplanned pregnancies are choosing life and hope everyday. Please visit Care Net for more information.

Poughkeepsie Lunchbox: Join CCHV volunteers on the first Thursday and next to last Monday of each month to serve a hot evening meal at this soup kitchen. We also hold monthy donation dates where we encourage members of the body to donate canned and non-perishable foods. Contact the office for donation dates or more information on serving at the Luncbox in Poughkeepsie.
